Anti Drugs Committee

 The Anti-Drugs Committee of Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya, Nasatra Barpeta, Assam, was established on May 29, 2024. The committee is dedicated to addressing and preventing drug abuse within the university community. It comprises a Chairperson, a Convener, and several members who work collaboratively to implement various anti-drug initiatives and awareness programs.

  8. Policy Implementation: Anti-drug committee works to implement policies that aim to build safe and healthy communities by minimizing drug related health, social and economic harm among the students.

Structure of the Committee

Chairperson: The Chairperson leads the committee, providing overall direction and ensuring that the committee’s goals align with the university’s policies and values. They oversee the planning and execution of anti-drug activities and maintain liaison with external organizations and government bodies for support and resources.

Convener: The Convener is responsible for coordinating the committee’s activities and meetings. He ensures that the committee’s plans are adequately chaulked out and effectively implemented and manage communication among the members. The Convener also plays a key role in organizing events and outreach programs.

Members: The members of the committee include faculty, staff, and students who are passionate about creating a drug-free environment in the campus. They assist in planning and executing various programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
