Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya under the aegis of Krishnaguru Foundation was established as per the Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya Act. 2017, enacted by the Govt. of Assam under Assam Private University Act. 2007. The university along with the constituent units are dedicated entirely to imparting value-based quality education to the budding young minds, in the last three decades, not only to create an innovative and knowledgeable society but also to create human resources with integrity and high moral values. His Holiness Paramguru Krishnaguru Prabhu Iswar introduced a special curricula from KG to PG under the same roof, blending spiritualism and universal positive human values such as respect, honesty, integrity, compassion, high morality etc., to achieve holistic development in the society. This would ultimately lead to targeted world peace and harmony. University is also committed to empowering young minds in skill, professional and spiritualism for creating a need based vibrant human resources for socio-economic upliftment in the society. Therefore, various skills and professional courses like Health & Paramedicals covering B.Sc & M.Sc Nursing, GNM and B.Ed, M.Ed & D.El.Ed are the priority areas in addition to ongoing M.A & M.Sc programmes in selected subjects. Spiritual study is a compulsory subject starting from KG to PG in this education hub and total enrolment of student have crossed 1800 mark with more than 80% residential.

Under graduate courses such as B.A. and B.Sc. with major in many subjects are in progress and B.Com will be initiated from the 2018-19 session. Research on spiritualism, comparative religion and Gandhian Philosophy are the area to be developed. We are equally committed to create every student as a Brand Ambassador to Krishnaguru Sewashram to spread the messages on the doctrine of KRISHNAGURU in the country and abroad to achieve sustainable world peace.

The Krishnaguru Foundation and Krishnaguru Sewashram authority has evinced keen interest to establish a professional university blended with spiritual and humanity. The Govt. of Assam is also extending invaluable guidance and supports in this venture to achieve the targeted goal.
